Data controller

Responsibility for personal data handled via footballyring.com rests with:

Data that reaches us

• Your connection's IP address along with a coarse city or region guess based on it.
• Technical request headers, including user agent, language and screen basics.
• Which ledger pages you open and which buttons you press, but only if analytics is switched on.
• Whatever you send us by email or via the message form: name, reply address, chosen topic and text.

What it is used for

• Operating and securing footballyring (legitimate interest).
• Analytics, so the desk knows which entries readers rely on (consent).
• Marketing, meaning referral networks crediting reservations to our buttons (consent).
• Answering correspondence you start (legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request).

Recipients

Processors acting on our instructions, such as the host, the analytics vendor and the mail provider, receive what they need. With advertising storage allowed, partner and affiliate networks receive referral identifiers too. A hotel you reach through a button applies its own privacy terms. Several vendors operate abroad; where the law asks for it we use standard contractual clauses or comparable safeguards.

How long we hold it

Raw server logs: 90 days at most. Analytics: aggregated and held no longer than 26 months. Correspondence: deleted two years after the final reply.

GDPR requests

Where the GDPR covers you, you can obtain a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, take it elsewhere, object to or limit our processing, and pull consent whenever you like. Regulators handle grievances too: you may take one to the data-protection body in your country. Send requests to privacy@footballyring.com.

California (CCPA/CPRA) requests

Californian readers are able to request a list of the personal-information categories footballyring gathers, uses and passes on, to have that information erased or fixed, and to bar its sale or its sharing for cross-site ad targeting. A Global Privacy Control signal is honoured automatically by disabling advertising storage. Exercising a right never leads to worse treatment. Send requests to privacy@footballyring.com.

Readers under 18

footballyring is aimed at adults. We never set out to gather information about children; should a minor contact the desk, let us know and that correspondence will be erased.

Revisions

Any update to this notice moves the revision stamp at the foot. Significant updates are also flagged near the heading for some weeks.
