footballyring.com belongs to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City — Seminole Hard Rock, the operating company of the Hard Rock resort that fronts the Atlantic City Boardwalk. A compact in-house desk researches, drafts and updates every entry.

Our ownership of line one

The resort at #1 is ours. It heads the page for that single reason, and we would rather say so bluntly than dress it up. Book a room there and the owner, meaning this publisher, gains directly. None of the nine hotels below it has any ownership tie to us; their order comes from editorial judgement.

Where the revenue comes from

Certain buttons pointing at hotel websites contain referral tracking. If a reader clicks through and reserves, a property or an affiliate network can pay footballyring a fee, which adds nothing to the guest's price. Separately, every stay at our own resort earns us money as its owner. Placement on the ledger has never been for sale.

Selection code

A property qualifies when the stay stands up for somebody who skips the casino entirely: rooms you would happily sleep in, a spa or pool, a stage, a shoreline, river or hills nearby, and a sensible way in from a runway. Each amenity is checked against the hotel's material plus at least one outside listing. Disagreement between sources means the detail is cut, or turned into a prompt to ask reservations.

Prices, made-up counts, grades and guest quotations stay off these pages. Games and the casino floor are not covered either: each entry carries one plain line noting that a casino exists on the premises, and nothing more.

Fixing errors

Menus, levies and opening hours shift constantly. Spotted something stale? Email contact@footballyring.com naming the entry and the line in question. A member of the desk verifies the report, edits the page and refreshes its revision stamp.
